LTE and Fixed LTE Solutions

In telecommunications, Long-Term Evolution is a standard for wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies. It increases the capacity and speed using a different radio interface together with core network improvements.

The difference between LTE and Fixed LTE?

With LTE, you can connect to any Cell Tower with the ability to roam. You can also connect to 3G.
Using standard LTE, there is no Public Static IP.
Cell Towers are over populated and you will experience poor internet browsing.

Fixed LTE:
With Fixed LTE, you can only connect to towers that have been allocated for use, you wont be able to roam onto other networks.
It is meant to be used in a fixed location.
You will need a Fixed LTE Router for this solution as to where LTE can be used with any router.
The provider is able to supply you with a Public Static IP address as well, some providers do charge an additional fee for this VAS.
Cell Towers are provisioned for Fixed LTE, meaning you are allocated a “spot” on the tower and internet browsing will not be affected.
